What was my scope
For 7 years I was responsible for E-commerce, Retail sales (spare parts and 2nd hands products) and Customer Services & Experiences in US, EMEA, Asia-Pacific and Greater China. I was responsible for creating and implementing long-term vision, mid-term strategies, roadmaps and managed multiple P&L’s, including forecasting targets, growing revenue, tracking performance and managed margin and costs.
What I did
I have built, developed, coached and engaged a global distributed team based in China, US, Australia and EU responsible for Customer operations, Commerce and Retail services by providing support, guidance and growth opportunities. Next to this I have built and maintained strong partnerships with key retailers and owned direct-to-consumer channels.
What I achieved
Together with my teams, I have transformed the business unit from a cost to a profit center. We closed feedback loops on service excellence and quality of products. We have built and leveraged Bugaboo.com to be the ultimate place to learn about the brand and its products. We successfully launched as single point of contact principle to further enhance the Bugaboo brand globally. We increased revenue with new business models like refurbishment program, ‘give back’ program and E-commerce of spare parts. And we successfully launched the Bugaboo ‘go’ app , 24 hours servicing of stroller wherever the consumer was, to give the possibility to connect with Bugaboo and other Bugaboo owners and to let consumers share their stories of their Bugaboo experiences
